pARTicipate - What else would you like LT to be?

This is an awesome concept and one that I very much think needs to be encouraged. From a design perspective it forces you to think outside the box, work with other peoples’ assets and gives you opportunity to learn / improve your skills in a “high pressure” situation. From a viewers’ point of view, it’s a lot of great eye candy with a little bit of story. If we could post-match learn a little more about what the different artists were shooting for / thinking at each stage of their match, that would be great. I wrote a blog post about Layer Tennis – http://www.oastler.ca/my-002/reviews/20071101_what-is-an-artistic-sport/ – which I’d welcome anyone to check out. The meat of which was answering the ‘what else would I like to see LT be?’ question in context of the sites’ claim that LT is “not just what the artists and designers do with the matches but what we all do with Layer Tennis together.” How about you? |
