@artbeard: great minds think alike or, like, maybe it was just too obvious….

(Did you have any technical difficulties? I had to print out 4 copies of the darn picture before I got the shot right!)

Late to comment. Here’s what I think Chris did to Naz’s opening serve.

Topic: Steven Harrington vs Chuck Anderson 10/12 / October 12th Match Remixes

I didn’t do anything too original, just reused stuff. But it was fun, anyway….

Topic: Shaun Inman vs. Kevin Cornell 9/28 / Conversation About Today's Match

Gee, I think we all win in this game – especially for the inspiration. I love reading the play-by-play and especially Shuan’s thoughts during the match (see post, above). The fact that these guys can create like this on the fly and so quickly (relatively so, even though it sometimes took longer than 15 minutes) is amazing.

I found myself routing for Shuan – I think maybe because he’s closer to what I am (a UI dev) and also because, being a first time layer tennis watcher, I thought the idea was to build upon the layers before and, although I loved the image, the whole switching to print thing made me go – huh? Where’s all the stuff Shuan did the last round? But I get it now, it can be about building on the concept, too.

Anyway, loved both of their creativity and artwork and love this game! I guess I would probably give the win to Shuan, because I really think he did a better job at playing off of the previous layers. (FYI, in real tennis, if you switch the direction of the ball while in play, you lose the point 70% of the time. Learned that tidbit at a tennis camp.)
