Duerden’s abscract variations I never could imagine, but Couscous Kid acted like I predicted. Maybe Duerden was thinking: let me throw a strong shot, like Andy Roddick. Mr. Star was ready and started like Roger Federer, putting some spin in a backhand. I loved his black-and-white composition.

Well, we’ll have a great match with thousands of layers. I’ll love looking at the raw files..

It’s fun to see inside the raw files.

Everything is organized in some files. It’s good to have time, isn’t it?
But there’s a little mess. Layers without names, unnecessary parts, screenshots and even some default filters. I loved it. It’s like myself in a hurry.

Anyway, I can’t believe they did everything (create, research, design) in 15 minutes. Great job and great match.

Manuel, maybe this could help.

“We’ll be playing matches using lots of different applications, from Adobe® Photoshop® to Adobe® Flash®, but the basic idea is the same no matter what tools are in use. Two artists (or two small teams of artists) will swap a file back and forth in real-time, adding to and embellishing the work. Each artist gets fifteen minutes to complete a “volley” and then we post that to the site. A third participant, a writer, provides play-by-play commentary on the action, as it happens. The matches last for ten volleys and when it’s complete, everyone visiting the site votes for a winner.”

I disagree, agraypace. All my money in on Kevin. But everything can happen. What a great game!

• Default cliparts? Nevermind. The game started with a fresh Kevin’s draw.
• Filters are not alowed, but there’s a great use of blending modes.
• Are you tired of slow matches? Dont’ worry. Shaun and kevin have being very fast.
• For those who like round corners, check volley 2.
