Topic: Scott Hansen vs Rob Cordiner 11/9 / Conversation About The Match @Manuel: I do agree, kinda. They’re both great at using Photoshop (technically) but conceptually I think previous matches were more interesting. Today I’m a little bit underwhelmed. |

Topic: Scott Hansen vs Rob Cordiner 11/9 / Conversation About The Match @CyberMonk: that makes sense, except the colour/color signs are misplaced then… |

Topic: Scott Hansen vs Rob Cordiner 11/9 / Conversation About The Match I like the creatures in volley 8. And my vote goes to ‘colour’! |

Topic: Brian Taylor vs Jason Santa Maria 10/26 / Conversation About The Match Yes, that’s a strong last hit. I like how parts of many previous volleys are re-used. |

Topic: Chris Glass vs Naz Hamid 10/19 / Conversation About The Match I think it’s great that this match is about ideas, rather than using loads of layers and filters and just producing eye candy. (After all, default filters are for chumps, and all) |

Topic: Chris Glass vs Naz Hamid 10/19 / Conversation About The Match The commentary is well written indeed, but I don’t agree – I think volley 6 is pretty brilliant. |

Topic: Shaun Inman vs. Kevin Cornell 9/28 / Conversation About Today's Match Paragraph 2 is from Wikipedia: “The advent of jaws allowed fish to eat a much wider variety of food, including plants and other organisms. In fish, food is ingested through the mouth and then broken down in the esophagus. When it enters the stomach, the food is further broken down and, in many fish, further processed in fingerlike pouches called pyloric caeca. The pyloric caeca secrete digestive enzymes and absorb nutrients from the digested food. Organs such as the liver and pancreas add enzymes and various digestive chemicals as the food moves through the digestive tract. The intestine completes the process of digestion and nutrient absorption.” |

Topic: Shaun Inman vs. Kevin Cornell 9/28 / Conversation About Today's Match @manuel: I think the bad kerning fits the distorted type treatment. It shouldn’t look too perfect. And I really don’t like the brackets around Cornell’s ‘Goat populations’ sentence. |

Topic: Shaun Inman vs. Kevin Cornell 9/28 / Conversation About Today's Match
Surely he was using actual paint on paper and then scanned it? I mean, it’s either that, or the artistic > watercolour filter in Photoshop. And I don’t believe he did that, because, as we all know, default filters are for chumps. |

Topic: Shaun Inman vs. Kevin Cornell 9/28 / Conversation About Today's Match Oooh, he turned it into a website! Very clever, very stylish. He even found a way to use Helvetica, if I’m correct. |
