yes it was a tight match but nothing totally blew me away. I’d say on the whole volleys 8 and 9 were my favorite. I agree with many that volley 6 had me rooting for Li, but her final volley seemed weak and not terribly pleasing aesthetically (sorry Cindy) and so I am going to have to vote for Veerle

i like volley 8 – I think it is a very accurate depiction of what it is like to watch layer tennis on a Friday evening on the east coast. Just twiddling your thumbs between volleys hoping your boss doesn’t realize you aren’t working.

i liked volley 4 – it provided a perfect out of the insanity that this match has become. To bad no one took it. But I suppose the fat lady hasn’t sung yet.
